My beloved Parishioners,
I am really blessed!
I am really blessed to be here in Philadelphia with you all and with this vibrant faith community. Even though it is not by choice that I came here I consider it as a privilege and honor to be your new Pastor. And also I take this opportunity to thank you all for the warm welcome and acceptance you gave me to this parish family on my arrival. Yes, it is by God’ plan our bishop His Ex. Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed me as your new Vicar to lead, guide and pastor this faith community with serenity, sincerity and sanctity. I thank him as well.
I express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Father Jacob Christy for his relentless service over the past years to form this parish and to buy this church and to shape this parish in its initial stage. Also I thank all the Fathers in the past who also contributed their role to build this faith community. Yes, our past and present Trustees, Parish Councils, Leaders and all those who have contributed their portion to build this faith community deserve our greater appreciation as well. Every success and growth comes from a collective work and cooperation. I congratulate you all. God Bless You!
Our journey is not yet over, just started, a long way to go. We need to work together as a family, sharing each others’ burdens to release them, sharing our joys to multiply them, encouraging with kind words to boost everyone, contributing our portion as God has given to us with out reservation to support our church, and praying together to glorify the good Lord. Our success is ahead!
For this we need to work hand in hand, pray with hearts full of grace and sincerity, and above all celebrating our faith through our active participation in Holy Qurbana every Sundays and weekdays in our church, Sacraments as church prescribes, Sacramentals frequently and participating in ward meetings every month with your whole family. Yes, our families will enjoy it, our Youth and Children will benefit it…
